A wonderful day course in the relaxing and friendly setting of The Lillie Art Gallery
A one day course, creating development work and mixed-media, collage paintings based on images of your street and the neighbourhood that you live in.
Investigating Alastair Strachan's exhibition, ‘City Building ‘ at the Lillie. Exploring the methods and materials used to create the large scale cityscapes on show.
Working from your own photographs and drawings, exploring strategies and media to transform and hopefully surprise yourself by where they go, removing any fear of failure or making mistakes and just enjoying the journey.
Working in Acrylics
Materials list will be provided one week prior to course date
No experience necessary
Suitable for participants with some experienced of painting & drawing skills
All EDLC Get Creative Programme courses are subsidised, to reduce costs for participants, enabling greater access to the arts.
Therefore art work produced by participants is for personal use only and not for commercial resale. We reserve the right to refuse entry to courses on this basis

Time:10am - 4pm (breaks & lunch)
